Mohammad Maghfourian completed a Bachelors of Kinesiology with Honors from Univeristy of Calgary, a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Alberta, as well as his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) through Evidence in motion. Additionally, he also completed his Acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada institute. Mohammad has been involved with professional men’s boxing, professional boat racing, men’s rugby, bantam/junior hockey team, junior lacrosse/baseball, and men’s varsity basketball to name a few.

Mohammad’s treatment approach focuses on evidence based approach, patient centered care through corrective active movement augmented by manual therapy and Acupuncture needling techniques. He believes that targeted prescribed exercise, education and manual therapy with needling are key in recovering from injuries. This allows patients’ to be in control of their recovery providing optimal results and recovery.

During his spare time Mohammad enjoys participating in triathlons, playing soccer, volleyball, tennis among other activities. He is a firm believer of life work balance and promotes an active lifestyle.
