Brennen D'Amours MScPT, BSc

Physical Therapist | Meadowlark
Brennen will be joining our Meadowlark office February 24, 2020!

My name is Brennen and I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to completing my Physical Therapy degree, I completed a Bachelor of Science degree, with Distinction, specializing in Physiology and Developmental Biology. As my career progresses, I am keen on pursuing additional training including manual therapy certifications, IMS needling, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation and training specific to athlete rehabilitation.

My goal as a Physical Therapist is to create an individualized “game plan” for each of my patients, allowing them to understand their injury and recognize each of the necessary steps required to reach and surpass their pre-injury level of function.

Working alongside my patients, I aim to allow this “game plan” or framework to empower them in the processes of injury recognition, rehabilitation and prevention. By taking the time to carefully work with each of my patients, I am confident their unique needs will be considered as I provide them with detailed education, targeted rehabilitative exercises, effective manual therapy and therapeutic electrophysiological modalities.

I am extremely enthusiastic about working with anyone and everyone who comes through the doors at Innovation Physical Therapy. From those who have suffered a new injury, to someone who is looking to get a start on living an active pain free life and everyone in between - I am excited by my patient’s potential for progress and success.

When I am not working I am likely taking part in one of many of my favorite activities including supporting the Oilers as they vie for a playoff spot, playing and coaching Men’s Division 1 Soccer and youth soccer, playing men’s rec hockey and pond hockey, or escaping to the mountains whenever I can for a weekend of skiing or camping!
