Daksh-Paramasivam-Physical Therapist

Daksh Paramasivam

Registered Physiotherapist

Daksh graduated from Jamia Hamdard University with a Master of Physical Therapy in Sports Medicine (2003). Before completing his Master’s Degree, he received his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (1999) from Dr.M.G.R Medical University, India. As a result, Daksh has over ten years of experience in physiotherapy, including academic and clinical practice. Daksh provides orthopedic assessments and treatments based on clinical practice biomechanical and patient response models. This includes a manual therapy approach combined with muscle-stabilizing exercise programs.

He specializes in sports-specific injuries and is interested in treating lower back and lower limb injuries. Daksh has also presented scientific research papers at international conferences. He is an active participant in cricket and badminton. Daksh is fluent in Tamil and Hindi and can understand Punjabi. To better serve patients, a physical therapist who speaks these languages is required.

Sudev Singh completed a Doctor of Physiotherapy from A.T. Still University, Messa, AZ, USA and a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy, India, in India in 2007. Additionally, he graduated with a two-year Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College, Toronto, ON, in 2010.

  • Advanced Certification in IMS Dry Needling.
  • Certification in Kinesio Tapping.
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation (BPPV) certification.

Sudev has extensive experience treating patients of various age groups with orthopedic and neurological conditions. He firmly believes in evidence-based practice for treating his patients and achieving their functional goals.

Apart from work, he enjoys going to the gym, trail biking, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Rakesh Vijaya

Registered Massage Therapist

Rakesh graduated from CDI College, Edmonton, Alberta, in May 2019 with 2400 practice hours as a massage therapist in Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy. His area of interest is therapeutic massage. He is skilled in deep tissue massage, Indian massage, trigger point release, relaxation massage, and myofascial release. Rakesh also has a degree in physiotherapy from India and 8+ years of experience in clinical practice. His knowledge of physiotherapy helps him further with the clinical skills required for massage. 

Deepti Garawat

Deepti Garawat

Registered Physiotherapist

Deepti is a registered Physiotherapist and Dry Needling and Pelvic Floor expert. Her educational background includes a Masters in Physiotherapy. She has more than 12 years of experience in Physiotherapy, both in teaching and Clinical Practice. She has worked with Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Women’s Health. 

Her Pelvic floor skills encompass a range of work in assessing and treating dysfunctions of the pelvic floor, such as fecal and urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pre and postpartum concerns, painful menstruation and prolapse. Deepti has also completed Biomedical Dry Needling and Vestibular Rehabilitation courses. In her spare time, she likes to go hiking, painting, and sculpting but, more importantly, create memories with her family.
