Clinical Specialist Physical Therapist
Jeff is a graduate of the University of Alberta, with more than 25 years of experience as a clinician, a physiotherapy instructor, and as a nationally-certified Clinical Specialist. Although he treats all types of orthopedic injuries, concussions and dizzy conditions, Jeff has a deep interest in neck and back pain, and hip joint issues. He typically steps in to assist in cases that have not yet been properly diagnosed, or that are proving tricky and not responding to standard care.
Jeff is highly adept at getting to the bottom of things. Getting the diagnosis right is the first step, and that requires a through interview and examination. When xray, ultrasound or MRI is appropriate, Jeff is authorized to order these directly, saving you time and inconvenience. Once the diagnosis is clear, he will be able to explain to you the most effective and efficient treatment plan, either under his care, or by referring you to the medical specialist that you need. When Jeff is not in the clinic, he is either teaching physiotherapy courses, being a husband and father of 3, or happily lost in the forest mountain biking or trout fishing.
