Amy Livingstone
Financial Controller
Amy is a dedicated and technically skilled business professional with a versatile accounting, and office skill set developed through experience with full-cycle payroll and bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and office management.
She is a leader in our industry with 15+ years in office and accounting management, financial administration, and bookkeeping. In addition, Amy brings a wealth of experience from the healthcare, cattle, and oil and gas industries. She is pleased to bring her leadership and expertise to Innovation Physical Therapy.
In her spare time, Amy is passionate about her work with animal rescue.

Braden Bilyk
Physical Therapist
Braden graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology.
Braden has been part of the Innovation Physical Therapy team in different capacities since 2015 and is excited to be returning as a physical therapist. He is interested in working with various populations to progress toward their treatment goals. In addition, Braden is eager to expand his practice in manual therapy, dry needling, and concussion rehab.
Outside of work, Braden is a sports enthusiast and enjoys watching and playing various sports, including hockey, volleyball, and golf.

Darren Frohlich
Manual Physical Therapist
Darren graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Before completing his Physical Therapy Degree, he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. Darren has completed the Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy diploma offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He has also completed the Jim Meadows Spinal Manipulation course.
Darren has competed in volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee at the provincial and national levels. He also participates in many outdoor activities such as skiing, kiteboarding and water-skiing. In addition, Darren is interested in treating spinal, shoulder and knee injuries by combining manual therapy with functional exercises to help patients return to their activities of daily living. Darren has been with Innovation Physical Therapy’s South Edmonton Physical Therapy Clinic since January 2007 and is a valued team member.

Erica Nordstrom
Physical Therapist
Erica graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Before completing her degree in Physical Therapy, she acquired a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria (close to her hometown of Sooke, BC). Erica has advanced her manual therapy skills through the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy, completing the level 2 component and is certified as a spinal manipulative therapist.
Erica is certified in Biomedical Dry Needling and has completed Level I and II acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada. Erica has an extensive sports background, including athletic training for the University of Victoria men’s ice hockey team (BCIHL). She also actively participates in a variety of sports and activities, including ice hockey, slow pitch, and yoga. Erica enjoys working with various patients from pediatric to senior populations at South Edmonton’s physiotherapy clinic.

Florence Aung-Collins
Physical Therapist
Florence graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Physiology. Since graduating from physical therapy, she has pursued various post-graduate courses to enhance her practice. She has completed the Certificate Program in Medical Acupuncture (University of Alberta) and the Level 3 components of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy (Canadian Physiotherapy Association).
Florence has also completed courses in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (The Robin McKenzie Institute Canada), upper quadrant procedures in the Mulligan Concept, and the Sahrmann program of Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement System Impairment Syndromes (Canadian Physiotherapy Association).
Florence has practiced in different clinical settings (work conditioning centre and interdisciplinary team). Her areas of particular interest are acupuncture and chronic pain. In addition, Florence is a valued member of Innovation Physical Therapy’s South Edmonton physiotherapy clinic.

Kendra Hatch
Physical Therapist
Kendra graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction. She has continued with numerous post-graduate training certifications, including medical acupuncture, dry needling techniques, spinal and peripheral manipulations, and advanced clinical reasoning. She has also advanced her manual therapy skills through courses in the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy and has completed the Level 3 components.
Clinically, Kendra has developed a particular interest in using acupuncture and dry needling to treat acute and chronic spinal (neck and back) disorders. She is a certified specialist in the rehabilitation temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and craniovertebral dysfunction. She also enjoys treating athletic injuries and has an extensive softball, volleyball, and yoga background.

Kristin Milligan
Manual Physical Therapist
Kristin graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. She has completed the Level 3, and Intermediate Diploma components of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy offered through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Kristin has completed her certification in Dry Needling and has also trained in the Mulligan treatment technique for the upper body. As a result of her commitment to developing our future physical therapists, she has also been appointed as an Affiliated Clinical Educator by the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta.
For 20 years, Kristin studied jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical and hip hop dance, competing and performing in North America and Europe. She has also instructed and choreographed dance for eight years. Kristin has a special interest in rehabilitating dancers, gymnasts, and figure skaters. She is also an instructor in injury management and general stretching techniques with the Running Room.

Urvish Patel
Physical Therapist
Urvish graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from Gujarat University, India. He continued his interest in fitness and health after completing the Diploma program at Humber College, Toronto. Urvish has been working as a physical therapist in Alberta since 2021 and recently joined the Innovation Physical Therapy (Riverbend) team to continue his practice in Edmonton, AB.
He has completed Dry Needling Level 1 and is focusing on attaining his Dry Needling Level 2 Certificate in August 2023. He has also completed the Mulligan Concept – Lower Quadrant Certification. Urvish wants to continue progressing his Manual Therapy and sports injury rehab practice.

Saadiya Ali
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Saadiya graduated from Athabasca University with a Master of Counselling degree specialization in Counselling Psychology in 2020. She is an accredited Registered Provisional Psychologist. She focuses on the therapeutic working alliance in therapy and utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Saadiya works collaboratively with clients and focuses on creating a non-judgmental space, so her clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered to reach their goals. Saadiya is Multilingual, so sessions can be in English, Punjabi, Urdu, or Hindi upon client request.
In this life journey, we experience all kinds of positive and negative events. As humans, we are equipped with unique strengths and resources that shape our resiliency when it comes to healing, changing, growing, and adapting. We may experience problems because of a disruption (internal or external) to our daily functioning, impacting how we feel, think, or behave. This can result in feeling a loss of control and autonomy over our lives. A central tenant to Saadiya’s approach in counselling is empowerment, where she supports her clients to empower themselves: regain independence and control over their lives. She specializes in working with Post-Injury, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Chronic Pain, Depression, Stress, Anxiety, and Trauma related to Motor Vehicle Accidents.
In her free time, Saadiya enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her friends and family.
